About Reflectives
Reflective cycling gear helps other road users see you when visibility is poor. It's particularly effective if worn at eye level on your body such as around your waist or chest. Ankle bands are also very effective, as they move up and down with the pedal stroke and draw attention, as are fluttering tags on bags etc. The best thing about reflective gear is that it's always on and doesn't need batteries.
About the Respro brand
Respro product designer Harry Cole had "in your face" experience of exhaust fumes and city smog as a London cycle courier and this is still a significant and growing problem. In 1990, Respro launched the City mask, the first cyclists pollution mask and it is still in demand today. Over the last decade, awareness of air pollution has grown and now cyclists can choose from a wider range of styles and filters to accomodate more individual needs. Respro masks are supplied with replaceable filters and exhalation valves to keep the inside of the mask well ventilated.

...they can be applied to helmets without risk of structural damage and i found them particularly effective as a supplementary lighting system along unlit roads. adhesion on cotton duck panniers seemed good and appeared to highlight my appearence to other road users sooner. They'er particularly good on gloves, particlularly if you're winter pair is dark: a few well placed strips will make your signals hard to ignore. Good supplementary lighting systems are as important as main items and ia was particlularly grateful for them when my lead acid lighting system started to dim 20 mins from home. Fit them to the winter bike, your helmet, your panniers or even your gloves, but do be very cautious about applying them to your best technical kit.
